Philippine gamers are a prime target for illegal cryptocurrency mining hackers

According to Cryptovest, cybersecurity expert Pilao said that Filipino gamers have become the main target of cyber criminals, whose computers are used by criminals to mine digital currencies, and their computers are at risk of crashing.

Pilao also said that gamers must be aware of the privacy risks involved, especially when most popular games recently have online components or pay-to-play business models.
