According to CCN, a Bitcoin mine in a remote area of Norway has received a bomb threat. The mining company called "Kryptovault" operates in the cities of Folm, Hofens and Dale. On Saturday, the company issued a statement in a local newspaper saying it had received a bomb threat. Kryptovault's general manager Haegesaeter admitted that there had been some conflicts with local residents at the Hoffens and Dell mines and that the police were called after receiving the bomb threat. The bomb threat statement said the noise made by the mine was too disruptive and if the noise continued, he would send a bomb. Acting police investigator Lisbeth Edvardsen said local police were investigating the matter and were assessing whether further steps should be taken. |
