DGB (DigiByte) Mining Tutorial

DigiByte, referred to as DGB, is a public, rapidly developing and highly decentralized blockchain system that supports multi-algorithm mining.

F2Pool has currently opened mining pools for all DGB algorithms. Miners can mine using ASIC miners that support Sha256d algorithm (Bitcoin miner), Skein, Qubit, Groestl algorithm (White Card-X miner), and Scrypt algorithm (Litecoin miner).

The simple mining tutorial is as follows:

1. Get the wallet address and mining software

This link is the official wallet download link. DGB officials also recommend other third-party wallets, which can also be obtained from the above link.

There are many exchanges that support DGB transactions, which are not listed here one by one.

Note: Different countries have different regulatory policies on exchanges, and the relevant risks are borne by the miners themselves.

2. Mining Settings

2.1 SHA256 algorithm

Taking Antminer S9 as an example, after obtaining the mining machine IP, enter the mining machine IP in the browser, enter the mining machine backend, and fill in the following information:

Pool URL：stratum+tcp://dgb-sha256d.f2pool.com:11110 Worker：钱包地址.矿工号Password：矿工密码（可随意设置）

Note: The worker number is customizable and can be any number or letter. The wallet address and worker number are separated by a period.

As shown in the figure below:

After checking the wallet address and mining pool address, click "Save&Apply" in the lower right corner. After the machine submits the data normally, you can check the income.

2.2 Scrypt Algorithm

Taking Antminer L3 as an example, after obtaining the mining machine IP, enter the mining machine IP in the management computer browser, enter the mining machine background, and fill in the following information:

URL：dgb-scrypt.f2pool.com:11111 Worker：钱包地址.矿工号Password：矿工密码（可随意设置）

After setting the wallet address and worker number, click "Save&Apply" and wait a while. The mining machine will start mining and the operating status can be viewed in "status".

2.3 Groestl Algorithm

Take the Baika BK-X mining machine as an example. After the machine is connected to the network and powered on, find the corresponding IP of the machine from your router or Baikal's IP search software (https://pan.baidu.com/s/1i7KB3b03u2IcoCqZmHGrIA).

After confirming the mining machine IP, enter the mining machine IP from the browser and jump to the following interface:

The password is lowercase "baikal". After entering the password, jump to the management interface and click "Miner" in the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Enter the mining pool settings interface, as shown below:

1）出厂默认的dash 矿池以及3 个机枪池。 2）矿池挖矿地址。 3）选择你的算法。 4）钱包地址（用户名）。 5）密码（通常设置为X，除非用户自己额外设置了密码）。 6）Extranonce 优化（能优化你的挖矿效率）

In the pools area, set the parameters as follows:

URL：dgb-groestl.f2pool.com:11112 Algo：MGroestl User：钱包地址.矿工号（如：DsUwCypjp9kpgzpz5dWhdewoXHYLNCHNqWQ.123） Pass：x Extranonce：不勾选Priority：优先级，选最高优先级，填写为：0

After the settings are completed, select reload pools, the new mining pool is added successfully, and DGB mining begins. You can now return to the home page to check the mining machine's computing power.

2.4 Skein Algorithm

Skein algorithm, you can also use the white card BK-X model mining machine for mining. The relevant operation steps are basically the same as "2.3 Groestl algorithm". The parameter settings are as follows:

URL：dgb-skein.f2pool.com:11113 Algo：Skeincoin User：钱包地址.矿工号（如：DsUwCypjp9kpgzpz5dWhdewoXHYLNCHNqWQ.123） Pass：x Extranonce：不勾选Priority：优先级，选最高优先级，填写为：0

After the settings are completed, select reload pools, the new mining pool is added successfully, and DGB mining begins.

2.5 Qubit Algorithm

Qubit algorithm can also be mined using the white card BK-X model mining machine. The relevant operation steps are basically the same as "2.3 Groestl algorithm". The parameter settings are as follows:

URL：dgb-qubit.f2pool.com:11114 Algo：Qubit User：钱包地址.矿工号（如：DsUwCypjp9kpgzpz5dWhdewoXHYLNCHNqWQ.123） Pass：x Extranonce：不勾选Priority：优先级，选最高优先级，填写为：0

After the settings are completed, select reload pools, the new mining pool is added successfully, and DGB mining begins.

3. Check the income

How to check earnings: Go to the official website of the mining pool: http://www.f2pool.com/, enter the wallet address in the search box, select DGB of the corresponding algorithm, and click "View" to monitor the mining machine and check the account earnings.
