On August 23, Bitmain, a well-known cryptocurrency equipment provider, officially released its blockbuster product, the Antminer S9 Hydro. This is the eighth new product launched by Bitmain this year, following the launch of the Antminer S9i, ANTBOX, and Z9mini. It is reported that the Antminer S9 Hydro pioneered a water-cooling system, creating a new mining mode with low noise and high energy saving. The new S9 Hydro water-cooled mining machine supports the SHA256 algorithm and can mine digital currencies such as BTC and BCH. It is now officially on sale on the official website.

Unlike traditional air-cooled mining machines, S9 Hydro water-cooled mining machines use a water cooling system and can be used with a specific APW5 Antminer power supply combination for mining.
