EOS alternative node CryptoLions published a post reviewing the Jungle testnet attack and recovery process. The attacker abused the faucet of the Jungle testnet and used tokens on the testnet to vote for nodes that did not produce blocks, causing the testnet to go on strike. CryptoLions mentioned that this attack would not happen on the EOS mainnet because the EOS mainnet does not have a faucet. |
