According to Bitcoin news, Paraguay’s Itaipú Dam, one of the world’s largest hydroelectric facilities, is supporting Bitcoin and Ethereum mining in Ciudad del Este, a city on the country’s border with Brazil and Argentina. Cheap and abundant electricity from the Itaipu Dam is reportedly powering approximately 20,000 digital currency mining rigs. |
