Bitfury releases enterprise-grade Bitcoin mining machine Tardis with scalable upgrade design

On October 9, Bitfury Group announced the launch of its new enterprise-level Bitcoin mining machine, the "Bitfury Tardis", which is the latest generation of mining machines based on its B8 mining server.

The Bitfury Tardis miner is a significantly improved version of the B8 mining server, with a performance of up to 80 TH/s and new features such as improved user experience and reduced maintenance. The Bitfury Tardis miner is equipped with Bitfury's new high-performance Clarke ASIC chip and is fully upgradeable. Its printed circuit board can adapt to the next generation of ASIC chips in the future.

The Bitfury Tardis miner has multiple configurations and can be adapted to 5 to 8 printed circuit boards. With its new features, users can freely choose to achieve maximum power efficiency through 8 printed circuit boards, or achieve the best performance of a single ASIC chip through 5 printed circuit boards. The Bitfury Tarids miner is equipped with a small LED screen, which users can seamlessly operate and monitor through OrgangePi.

Performance testing is conducted at an ambient temperature of 25°C. Higher ambient temperatures may result in up to 10% reduction in performance.

Optimize OPEX ( operating expenses ) through the most energy-efficient settings , or configure for maximum computing performance.

For areas with high electricity prices, it is recommended to use the most energy-saving mode (install 8 hash boards).

In areas with cheap electricity or low-cost infrastructure, in order to achieve the cheapest price per unit of computing power (per TH), it is recommended to use a 5-hashboard configuration. (Because the number of hashboards and computing power are not linear)

The Bitfury Tardis is extremely flexible and can be used with a variable number of hashboards in several different configurations.
