The former queen of commodities on Wall Street has set her new development goal - Bitcoin

“Bitcoin technology can reshape how financial markets work.”

Blythe Master said this to everyone. Blythe Master is the CEO of Digital Asset Holdings, one of the largest brand companies in the industry.

“The potential market for these technologies is huge,” Master said Tuesday, speaking at the opening of the conference at SourceMedia in midtown Manhattan.

Master also said that just as cryptocurrencies work in bitcoin trading, everything from stocks to bonds could be exchanged for money or payments made in the same way.

However, despite this, the technology is still in its early stages. Master compared the current situation of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to the early Internet technology in the 1990s, and believes that the technology has developed.

“The reality is that the world is not ready for that right now,” Master said, noting that the industry will have to deal with regulatory hurdles and issues like certification and safety in the coming years.

Master was part of the team of executives at JP Morgan that created a market for credit default swaps in the 1990s and later oversaw global commodity decisions.

She left the bank in late 2014, following the sale of its physical commodities business to Mercuria, and became one of Wall Street’s biggest names in March, joining the fast-growing cryptocurrency division while still at Digital Asset Holdings.

She was named CEO of Digital Asset Holdings in March and took over Santander Consumer USA, a leading U.S. auto lender, earlier this month.
