Bitmain denies 7nm chip is in early stage of development

Recently, an industry insider revealed that the new 7nm chip announced by Bitmain is still in the laboratory stage. Bitmain released a 7nm chip on September 21, with a minimum energy efficiency ratio of 42 J/T, "which will soon be mass-produced and applied to the next generation of Antminers." The insider said that Bitmain's product is still in the early stages of research and development and is still far from mass production. The release may just be a publicity move under the pressure of the release of Innosilicon's new chip. Subsequently, Bitmain denied the doubt. (Coin World)
