APMinerTooL Super Detailed Step-by-Step Tutorial

This software is suitable for all Antminers and does not currently support other brands of miners.

Function description: set fixed IP, monitor and manage mining machines, configure mining machines, upgrade firmware, etc.

1. Computer requirements for running the software   WIN7 or above systems, XP and IOS systems cannot be used .

2. The language environment is automatically adapted according to the system environment. The Chinese environment displays Chinese, and the non-Chinese environment displays English.

3. If a virus error message appears during downloading, it is recommended that you try again with a different browser . This file is safe.

4. You need to decompress the software before using it, otherwise it cannot be used.

5. The computer where the software is installed and the mining machine must be connected to each other. When setting a fixed IP, the software and the mining machine must be in the same network segment .

1. Set a fixed IP   ( If you have already found the miner's IP, please skip this step )

After the mining machine is connected to the network and power supply normally, the IP obtained during the mining machine setting is in DHCP mode, and the IP address is not fixed. If there are many machines, for the convenience of management, the batch management software can set fixed IP addresses in batches. Note that when setting a fixed IP, the software and the mining machine need to be kept in the same network segment~

You can select the static IP to be modified in " Next Fill IP "

A normal router has a network segment of 1-254. If you set a static IP in the same network segment, and now want to set the static IP of the mining machine from 1, it may cause IP conflicts.

To avoid conflicts, it is recommended to set the router to assign DHCP mode starting from 100.

Example: Router assigns DHCP mode: 101-254 --> Set static IP: 1-100

" Subnet mask ", " Gateway ", " DNS " need to be checked in the computer's network sharing center and filled in correctly

Automatic Configuration

It is recommended to check the automatic configuration so that the mining machine to be configured can be automatically configured. If it is not checked, you need to manually enter the static IP to be set in " Next Fill IP ". Automatic configuration is more convenient.

Start monitoring

After completing the above operations, click " Start Monitoring ", then press the " IP report " button on the miner for 3-5 seconds, and then you can start allocating one by one. After the allocation is completed, click " Configure Miner ". The static IP configuration is completed.

2. Mining Machine Monitoring and Management

Software detects machines within the IP segment

A: Click " Miner Management " to display the mining machine management interface
B: Click to open the IP range editor
C: Click "+" to get the IP segment of the mining machine
D, E, F: Double-click the IP segment to modify the IP segment

Click Save and that’s it!

Scan and detect mining machines (all the mining machines scanned are configured)

After the entire segment is scanned, a pop-up window will pop up to indicate the number of machines in normal/low computing power/offline/failed states .

You can choose the status you want to display according to your needs. If you don’t want to display a certain status, just remove the ✅.

Configuring the Miner

A: Switch the currency. After switching, the software will automatically fill in the mining service address, which can also be modified by yourself . (Currency switching should be done when monitoring is not turned on or stopped)

B: Select the mining machine of the corresponding currency you want to configure. You can change the service address, miner name, etc.

C: Click Configure Miner to configure the selected currency. After configuration, it will prompt that the configuration is successful. Other machines will prompt that the configuration failed.

The miner name suffix can be modified in the " Miner Name Suffix " option. The current default is that the miner name suffix is ​​consistent with the IP segment.

After the modification is confirmed, click " Configure Miner " and it will be automatically configured. After the configuration is completed, a pop-up box will prompt the number of successful and failed configurations, and then click " Automatically monitor miners ".

Restart the mining machine

If a mining machine needs to be restarted, you can check the mining machine and click " Restart mining machine ". A prompt box will appear and click to confirm.

Restore factory settings

If a mining machine needs to be restored to factory settings, you can check the mining machine and click " Restart Mining Machine ". A prompt box will appear and click to confirm.

Restore DHCP mode

If the mining machine has been set with a static IP and now needs to be restored to the automatically acquired DHCP mode, you can select the machine to be restored, click " Restore DHCP ", and then click OK.

Change Password

This button can be used to modify the passwords for logging into the mining machines in batches . After the modification is completed, the default password in the " Settings-Basic Settings " interface needs to be changed to be consistent with this new password for it to take effect.
Example: original password (root), new password (123456), confirm password (123456)
Note: Please record your login username and password. If you forget them, you need to restore them to factory settings before you can log in to the backend of the mining machine.

Automatic monitoring of mining machines

After the mining machine needs to be set up, click " Automatically monitor the mining machine ".
By default, it will refresh every 5 minutes, and the font colors are: Normal (green)/ Disconnected (red)/ Low hashrate (yellow)

3. Upgrade the firmware

If a machine has an abnormally low computing power and needs to upgrade its firmware, you can use batch firmware upgrade to handle it.

How to operate

A: Click the " Upgrade Firmware " button.
B: Select the IP segment where the machine to be upgraded is located, and put a ✅ in front of the machine to be upgraded.
C: Add firmware.
(If the firmware has not been downloaded, select " Firmware Download Address " to download it, and then click " Select Firmware " after downloading. If the firmware has been downloaded, you can directly click " Select Firmware ". The firmware does not need to be decompressed, just select it for use)
D: Click " Add Firmware " and a pop-up box will pop up saying " Upload Successful ".

Preserve Configuration

If you want to keep the configuration, just check the software default . If you don't want to keep the configuration, just remove the ✅ in front of " Keep Configuration " (Under normal circumstances, firmware upgrades are not to keep the configuration)

Upgrading the firmware

Select the mining machine type, firmware name, click " Upgrade Firmware ", a pop-up box will prompt the number of machines to be upgraded, confirm the number and click " OK ". The upgrade process takes about 2 minutes. After waiting for two minutes, a pop-up box will prompt the upgrade result, whether the upgrade is successful or failed.

Batch software settings are divided into three functions: " Basic Settings ", " Miner Alarm ", and " IP Range Editor ".

The monitoring interval and mining machine password can be set.

Mining machine warning

When the mining machine reaches the upper or lower limit of a parameter warning value, there will be an indicator abnormality prompt .
Priority: If the computing power is low, it will be displayed first. If there are problems with other parameters, it will prompt that the indicator is abnormal .

IP Range Editor

Same function as Miner Management-IP Range.
