Ethereum official: Due to security alert, Ethereum Constantinople hard fork postponed

According to an announcement published on the Ethereum official blog on January 15, Ethereum core developers and the Ethereum security community have been made aware of potential issues related to Constantinople discovered by ChainSecurity on January 15, 2019. Out of an abundance of caution, it was decided to postpone the Constantinople hard fork originally scheduled to be activated at block 7,080,000. This will require anyone running a node (node operators, exchanges, miners, wallet services, etc.) to update to a new version of Geth or Parity before block 7,080,000. Block 7,080,000 is expected to start at 4:00 UTC on the 17th (12:00 Beijing time on the 17th).
