Notice about XMR Hard Fork

In the near future, Monero will undergo a fork upgrade at a height of 1788000 (expected on March 9, Beijing time) .

New version of the algorithm: Cryptonight V 10 (various names: Cryptonight/r, CryptonightR, Cryptonight variant 4)

Fork related information:

1. The expected fork height is 1788000 (around March 9).

2. The new version (0.14) is basically version 0.13.0.4 (i.e. release-v0.13 branch) + consensus changes.

3. Subsequent version releases will include new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements currently appearing in master.

4. PoW adjustment will be CryptonightR + random changes.

5. This fork will not generate any new digital currency.

For this XMR upgrade, miners need to do the following:

1. Replace the new mining software.

2. Node wallet users will upgrade their wallets to the latest version that will be released soon.

3. Mobile wallet users should upgrade to a version that supports consensus changes.
