The previous ELPH coin (old cn-v7 algorithm or monero7 algorithm) main chain will stop. The new main chain will start from 0, but with the same name, same address prefix and stock.
You have to stop mining the old ELPH coins and stop the old chain, which is unfair to the old ELPH coin holders. So the official team decided to compensate the old ELPH coin holders. The old coins will be exchanged for new coins at a ratio of 100 for 1.
The authorities also decided to remove the 7.5% premine to help the "exchange process"
