On April 28, Bitmain, one of the world's top ten and China's second largest fabless chip design companies, and the world's largest cryptocurrency mining company, officially released its new Antminer T17. The Antminer T17 is equipped with Bitmain's self-developed second-generation 7nm chip BM1397, with a computing power of up to 40TH/s and an energy efficiency ratio of 55J/T, and can support the mining of encrypted digital currencies such as BTC and BCH. According to official news, the Antminer T17 has now been officially launched on the Bitmain official website.

It is reported that Antminer T17 is the third new mining machine launched by Bitmain in April this year, and it is also the first T series product launched this year. Thanks to the continuous improvement of Bitmain's self-developed second-generation 7nm chip BM1397 in circuit structure and low-power technology, the performance of Antminer T17 has been significantly improved. Compared with the previous generation product Antminer T15, the computing power has increased by 73.9% and the energy consumption ratio has decreased by 17.9%.

In terms of overall design, the Antminer T17 uses the all-in-one design of the flagship product S17. The internal circuits, control boards, and hash boards of the machine are better packaged and can adapt to different mining environments. With the new APW9 power supply and 16-18V high voltage output, it effectively reduces power loss during power conversion and improves power conversion efficiency.

Antminer T17 also focuses on heat dissipation performance. In terms of heat dissipation structure, it adopts a double-tube fan heat dissipation mode. Compared with the traditional single-fan device, the heat dissipation air path is shortened by 50%, and the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet is reduced. The heat dissipation effect of the whole machine is greatly improved, effectively ensuring the stability of the mining machine.

Antminer T17 continues the performance advantages of the T series, and continues to iterate and upgrade based on the previous generation of products, further balancing performance and price. The new product is more cost-effective than the previous generation.
