Good news for GPU mining machines: New coin YEC lands on F2Pool

This time, the Ycash (YEC) mining pool is launched on the fish pool.

YEC is a new blockchain network generated by forking the privacy-focused cryptocurrency Zcash (ZEC). As a network independent of ZEC, YEC will be the first product of its kind with almost the same code base as the ZEC blockchain and will become a competitor to ZEC.

YEC is a friendly fork of ZEC, which occurred at block height 570000 (approximately July 18, 2019). It supports general hardware CPU and GPU mining, and 75% of YEC will be mined by PoW before the second halving, after which it will partially or completely switch to the PoS consensus mechanism.
