How to flash the card using the custom password program for Antminer S17/S17Pro/S9 SE/S9k/Z11

The following operation method is applicable to the following Antminer models: S9k, S9 SE, S17, S17Pro, Z11. The video tutorial takes S9 SE/S9k as an example:

Preparation

TF (Micro SD) card: 16G and below. Other large-capacity cards are more likely to have problems.

Computer: Use XP or above system;

How to obtain the customized password card swipe program

Through the WeChat public account "Bitmain Customer Service", leave your email address and contact the manual customer service to obtain the card swiping procedure.

Install the TF card into the card reader and connect it to the computer.

Format the TF card as FAT32.

Unzip the obtained card flash file and copy all the unzipped files to the TF card.

Modify the passwd.txt file in the bin folder of the card flash program, write the new mining machine login password in this file, it is recommended to set a complex password. Then remove the TF card.

Note: Copy the unzipped files to the root directory of the TF card, not to the folder of the TF card.

How to operate

Insert the memory card into the SD card slot and power on the machine.

The program in the TF card starts to replace the program in the control board, which takes about 30 seconds (the time required for different models may vary). After completion, the red and green lights of the mining machine will flash at the same time, and the control board will be powered off.

Remove the TF card and power on the device again.

Get the machine IP address and use the set password to log in to the machine backend. If the login is successful, the card swipe is successful.

Abnormal card swiping situations and solutions

If the card flash fails, it means that the TF card is not recognized or has poor contact. The solution is as follows:

Reformat the TF card and copy the correct model firmware.

Press the TF card slot with your hand to ensure good contact.

Clean the dust and other debris in the TF card slot.

There is something wrong with the TF card itself and you need to replace it with a good one.
