F2Pool CLO (Callisto) Mining Tutorial

Callisto Network is a distributed open source encryption platform based on the Ethereum protocol. CLO uses the same mining algorithm as ETH and ETC, which is the Ethash algorithm. Therefore, Ethereum mining machines and mining software can also be used to mine CLO, supporting N-card and A-card mining.

1. Mining equipment and mining environment

Mining equipment: GPU (mainstream N card, A card is acceptable, video memory not less than 2G).

Operating system: Windows, Linux, Mac.

Mining software:

minerOS (N card & A card)

Bminer (N card)

Easy Miner (N card & A card)

Claymore (N card & A card)

Ethminer (N card & A card)

Ethminer supports a minimum of 2G video memory, but the computing power is very low.

2. Get the wallet address

Exchange wallet:

STEX; Bitfinex; QBTC.

Register and log in to the exchange, find CLO recharge, and you can get the CLO wallet address.

Note: Different countries have different regulatory policies on exchanges, and the relevant risks are borne by the miners themselves.

3. Get mining software

The mining software can be obtained through the following link.

F2Pool Version (Nvidia & AMD):

The F2Pool version has created a batch file for miners. The default mining pool is F2Pool. Just replace the wallet address in the configuration parameters with your own CLO wallet address and save the settings.

Original miner software:

minerOS: https://www.mineros.cn/index.php/zh/, is a graphics card mining machine management system developed based on Linux, which supports cloud batch management of mining machines. The system ROM supports USB and diskless installation, and has built-in third-party original mining software such as Claymore, Bminer, ccminer, EWBF, etc.

4. Set mining parameters and start mining

4.1 Mining settings using minerOS

For users who are using minerOS for the first time, please refer to the tutorial: https://www.mineros.cn/index.php/zh/course/primary

Create a CLO mining template, select F2Pool as the mining pool and fill in your own CLO wallet address, and apply it to the mining machine, as shown below:

4.2 Use Bminer mining settings

Bminer currently only supports N cards, and supports dual mining of CLO and other currencies such as VBK and BTM.

Download the Bminer mining software, select "Extract files to current folder", and find the "start.bat" file, as shown below:

Right-click "start.bat" and select "Edit". In the "start.bat" file, set the parameters as follows:

Single mining CLO:

bminer -uri ethproxy:// wallet_address . worker_name @clo.f2pool.com:8018

CLO and BTM dual mining:

bminer -uri ethproxy:// wallet_address . worker_name @clo.f2pool.com:8018 -uri2 tensority:// wallet_address . worker_name @btm.f2pool.com:9221 -api 127.0.0.1:1880

CLO and VBK dual mining:

bminer -uri ethproxy:// wallet_address . worker_name @clo.f2pool.com:8018 -uri2 vbk:// wallet_address . worker_name @vbk.f2pool.com:3500 -api 127.0.0.1:1880

When using the F2Pool version of the mining software, you only need to replace the wallet address in the "start.bat" file with your own wallet address, save the settings and run the "start.bat" file. Wallet_address (wallet address) and worker_name (miner number, name the machine, custom such as number or letter combination) are separated by an English period. When modifying, only modify the corresponding characters, and do not add or subtract spaces or punctuation.

If you use the original miner software, you need to create a batch file yourself according to the above commands.

After verifying that the information is correct, save and exit the "start.bat" file, then double-click to run the "start.bat" file to start mining.

4.3 Use Easy Miner to set up mining

Miner Name: Give the miner a name to distinguish the miner. It can be a combination of numbers or letters.

Currency: Select CLO.

Wallet Address: Set your CLO wallet address to receive mining income.

Mining Pool: Select F2Pool.

After the settings are completed, click "Start Mining".

4.4 Using Claymore Mining Settings

Download the Claymore mining software, select "Extract files to current folder", and find the "start.bat" file, as shown below:

Right-click "start.bat" and select "Edit". In the "start.bat" file, set the parameters as follows:

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://clo.f2pool.com:8018 -ewal wallet_address -eworker worker_name -epsw x -allpools 1 -allcoins exp -gser 2 -mode 1

When using the F2Pool version of the mining software, you only need to replace the wallet address in the "start.bat" file with your own CLO wallet address, save the settings and run the "start.bat" file. When modifying, only modify the corresponding characters, and do not add or remove spaces or punctuation.

If you use the original miner software, you need to create a batch file yourself according to the above commands.

After verifying that the information is correct, save and exit the "start.bat" file, then double-click to run the "start.bat" file to start mining.

4.5 Using Ethminer Mining Settings

Download the Ethminer mining software, select "Extract files to current folder", and find the "start.bat" file, as shown below:

Right-click "start.bat" and select "Edit". In the "start.bat" file, set the parameters as follows:

ethminer -P stratum1+tcp:// wallet_address . worker_name @clo.f2pool.com:8018 -U

Note: When using A card for mining, change the "-U" at the end to "-G"

5. Check the income

After the machine runs for a while and submits data to the mining pool, you can check the operating status and income of the mining machine. You can visit the F2Pool ( https://www.f2pool.com ) official website, enter the wallet address in the search bar in the upper right corner, and click View to view the mining machine status and income.

You can also use the F2Pool App ( click to download ), select "Quick View" on the login page, enter the CLO wallet address set in the mining software, select CLO as the currency, and log in.
