Wuhan, China, October 24, 2019 — INNOSILICON, a leading global high-end mixed-circuit chip/IP design company, announced today that its diverse IP portfolio has been certified for the GF® (GF®) 12nm Leading Performance (12LP) platform, enabling designers to provide differentiated products for various compute-intensive applications including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, high-end smartphones and network infrastructure. INNOSILICON's GDDR6 has been designed and has been taped out based on GF 12LP. In the era of big data and cognitive computing, GF's 12LP platform provides customers with ultra-high performance and data processing capabilities to meet the needs of computing, connectivity and storage (CCS), artificial intelligence/machine learning, high-end consumer and automotive solutions. Compared with the previous generation of FinFET, the platform has a 10% increase in logic density and more than 15% performance improvement, and includes new market-oriented solutions designed specifically for automotive electronics and RF/analog applications. GF's qualification of Innosilicon's IP portfolio ensures that each IP is chip-proven, helping designers reduce the risk of integrating standard interfaces into their SoCs.
