Nervos CKB testnet mining tutorial: NBminer & Bminer

ViaBTC currently supports Bminer and NBminer mining. The mining steps are as follows:

1. Complete ViaBTC account registration

2. Download mining software

3. Set mining parameters

NBMiner supports CKB single mining and ETH & CKB dual mining. You can choose according to your needs. Bminer currently only supports ETH & CKB dual mining. Select the dual mining option and set ViaBTC 's ETH mining address and your ViaBTC username to perform dual mining .

3.1 Mining settings using NBminer

1 ) Download NBMiner mining software, select " Extract files to current folder " , and find the "start.bat" batch file of ckb , as shown in the figure below:

2 ) Right-click "start.bat" and select " Edit " . In the start.bat file, set the parameters as follows:

CKB Solo Mining:

nbminer -a eaglesong -o stratum+tcp:// ckb.viabtc.com: 70 -u username.worker_name  

CKB & ETH dual mining:

nbminer -a eaglesong_ethash -o stratum+tcp:// ckb.viabtc.com: 70 -u username.worker_name -do stratum+tcp:// ethereum.viabtc.com:3333 -du username.worker_name

  Notice:

1. Please change username to your account name or sub-account name at pool.viabtc.com . worker_name can be anything you want, but must be numbers or lowercase letters, with a maximum of 64 characters.

2. If the miner cannot be detected with suffix 70, you can try port 7777, stratum+tcp://ckb.viabtc.com : 7777.

3 ) Save the file and double-click to open "start_ckb_eth.bat" or "start_ckb.bat" again . The mining interface will pop up. If the word "accept" appears , it means that the submission to the mining pool is successful.

3.2 Use Bminer mining settings

Set ViaBTC 's ETH mining address and your ViaBTC username at the same time to perform dual mining.

4. Check the operating status and income of the mining machine

After the machine has run for a period of time and submitted data to the mining pool, you can log in to https://pool.viabtc.com to view the operating status and revenue of the mining machine.
