Bitcoin mining company Hut 8 has completed construction of a new mine after acquiring nine data centers from Bitfury

According to BlockBeats, Bitcoin Exchange Guide reported that Canadian crypto mining company Hut 8 Mining Corp has completed the construction of the Drumheller mine after acquiring 9 data centers from Bitfury for $7 million. Hut 8 CEO Andrew Kiguel believes that the acquisition will enable the Drumhekker facility to function fully and provide Hut 8 with full ownership of the company.
It is understood that Hut 8 is one of the largest mining companies in Canada and has an exclusive partnership with the veteran mining giant Bitfury in North America. It started its Bitcoin mining business in December 2017. As of September 30 this year, Hut 8 has mined 12,305 Bitcoins. The latest acquisition has increased Hut 8's overall capacity by 16%, and its operating capacity has increased to approximately 110 MW and 963 PH/s.
