The new version of the firmware of Shenma mining machine was released on April 18, 2020

Dear Shenma users:

Thank you for your continued support and trust! We recently launched the new version of firmware 20200418, which is optimized for the M20 and M30 series models. The features are as follows:

  1. Enhanced the stability of product operation

  2. Supported M30 series models

  3. Further optimize the low power consumption mode of M21S (M20S does not support low power consumption mode yet)

The new firmware solves known bugs and reduces the probability of machine failure. We recommend that you use the latest tool WhatsMinerTool-4.5.3 for upgrading, which will make the function operation smoother.

How to upgrade?

1. This upgrade requires the use of the latest WhatsMinerTool version 4.5.3

2. Download the latest firmware version 20200418: https://www.whatsminer.com/server/firmware.html

3. Upgrade the corresponding firmware version to the machine according to the machine control board type. Currently, the machine control board types are H3 and H6. As shown in the figure, you can view the machine control board type in the "Firmware Version" of the tool.

Or you can log in to the machine IP through the browser and switch to the overview page to view the type of control panel.


If the upgrade fails during the upgrade process,

  • Please check whether the firmware version is consistent with the machine

If they are consistent, the upgrade is successful and can be run for a long time;

If they are inconsistent, please restart the machine where the upgrade failed (power off and restart or reboot), wait for the machine to come online, reselect the firmware of the corresponding control board type, and upgrade again;

The new generation firmware 20200418 low power consumption mode. The low power consumption data may vary slightly due to the operating environment of the mining machine and the different batches of machine computing power. Please refer to the actual situation.
