However, if they fail to complete the task, not only will they not get rewards, but even the mortgage coins will be deducted by the system. This is a loss of both the wife and the army. Consensus penalty: Submit two or more blocks at the same height to increase your Weight. When this happens, any other miner can report it. After the network verifies that it is true, the miner's mortgage coins will be deducted and their storage computing power will be cleared. Even if the cheater re-mortgages, the miner will not be able to generate new blocks.

Storage penalty: Storage penalty can be divided into two types: penalty for failure to submit space-time proof on time, and penalty for failure to submit space-time proof. The two look similar but are actually very different. One is not submitted within the specified time, and the other is not submitted. The difference between the two is the penalty:

1. Failure to submit space-time proof on time (Post)

Every miner needs to submit a time-space proof in each proving period, otherwise he will be fined.

The penalty for failing to submit proof of time and space on time is relatively small. For miners who submit proof of time and space overdue, they only need to pay a certain amount of fine, and the current miner's storage computing power will not be affected.

2. Failure to submit proof of space-time (Post)

Not only did the miner fail to submit the proof within a proof cycle, but the delay even exceeded the generation attack threshold. In this case, it is regarded as not submitting the time-space proof.

The penalty in this case is fatal to the miners. In addition to deducting all the mortgage tokens and clearing the storage computing power, the miners in this state will have any blocks they generate invalid even if they are selected as block miners.

Contractual penalty: Deleting customer data privately before the storage transaction expires . For example, the user requested to store data for 100 days, but the miner deleted the data after storing it for 99 days; or the user stored 10 files and accidentally deleted 1 file.

This penalty is relatively mild, and only the amount of the order you breached will be deducted. For example, if you accept an order to store 10 GB of data for 100 days for a customer, the total price is 100 FIL. If you seal the 10 GB of data into 10 sectors, but you accidentally delete 9 of the sectors on the 99th day, you will need to pay a fine of (9/10)*100 = 90 FIL.

The agreement here does not specify whether the 100FIL of the order belongs to you, but it specifically points out that the fine is deducted from your collateral coins. From this, it can be seen that you should not be able to get the money for the order.
