Step 1: Install the client

• 1.1 Find the IPFS client download page. You can find it on the homepage of IPFS.GUIDE navigation.
  

• 1.2 On the download page, select the corresponding file according to your computer operating system. You can easily find it by the suffix. For Windows system, download the .exe file, and for Mac system, download the .dmg file.
  

• 1.3 After downloading, complete the installation.

Step 2: Add the file to be shared to the IPFS network

• 2.1 Start the installed IPFS client. Take the Mac version as an example. Click the File menu
  

• 2.2 Select the files you want to add and import them into the IPFS network
  

• 2.3 After importing, you can see a string starting with Qm displayed below the file. This is the IPFS hash of the file.
  

Step 3: Share the obtained IPFS hash

• Take the file I added in the above picture as an example, the hash is QmVKcWQxr6nxZAMNqZBBxkkHEnN3JXLWjzfgst7mx7DS66
  If the other party also has an IPFS client installed, he can add files directly through the IPFS path
  

It should be noted that during the sharing process, you need to keep your computer client online, otherwise the other party may not be able to obtain the file.

Step 4: Play the movie through the IPFS browser

In the IPFS video browser, enter the hash value and you can play the short movie.
