Ant Training Academy launches new courses to continue promoting industry standardization service system

As the industry's first mining machine maintenance certification course system, Ant Training Academy is a training service upgrade project launched by Bitmain based on years of knowledge dissemination and technology inheritance. It is the only officially certified training institution and certificate issuing agency for Antminer, aiming to optimize the qualification structure of industry technicians, attract and cultivate more professional talents needed by the industry.

Affected by the epidemic, in the first half of this year, Ant Academy promoted mining machine maintenance training courses under limited conditions, and carried out a total of 3 offline training sessions and 5 online training sessions. At present, with the orderly resumption of work and production, Ant Academy's domestic offline courses have all resumed normal operations.

As an in-depth measure to promote the industry to improve service standardization, Ant Academy has been constantly innovating and keeping pace with the times in terms of teaching system, course content, etc. This time, with the resumption of offline courses, Ant Academy will once again welcome students with a new look - officially launching a new mining machine maintenance training course in August, and implementing a number of important optimization and reform measures.

The course content keeps pace with the times, and the Antminer S19 maintenance training course has been added. The Antminer S19 series is a new product released by Bitmain this year. With its hard-core performance that breaks industry records, it has received a warm response from the market at the beginning of its release. In order to welcome the widespread application of the S19 series in the future and ensure that customers are provided with first-class standardized maintenance services in the industry, the relevant training courses for the S19 series have also come into being and will be officially launched in the Ant Academy's August courses.

The course combination is more flexible, providing more choices for students. The previous maintenance training courses were divided into two levels, both of which were fixed with a two-week duration and 16 students. Based on previous teaching experience and student feedback, the updated courses have made more flexible and targeted adjustments: the courses will be divided into long-term courses and short-term courses. The long-term courses will last for two weeks, and the short-term courses will only take 5 days. The class size will be reduced to 8 students, so that each student can get more adequate training guidance. At the same time, elective courses will be added to return the right of self-selection to students. The specific arrangements are as follows:

The reason for making such adjustments is to take into account the knowledge base and personalized needs of each student. Novice students can start from the basics of welding and complete the full range of content learning from basic knowledge to practical operations within two weeks. For students who have experience in mining machine maintenance but need to learn new models, or students who already have basic welding foundation or mine work experience, short-term courses are undoubtedly a more timely choice. In addition, the online teaching model that has taken shape during the epidemic will continue to be used to provide convenience for students who cannot participate in offline courses, and strive to ensure that every student can graduate smoothly on schedule.

Apply rewards and discounts to stimulate learning potential. Ant Training Academy still provides specific discounts and graduation awards for students who successfully complete the course. Students who successfully complete the course and pass the assessment will uniformly obtain the "Ant Miner Maintenance Engineer Qualification Certificate" officially certified by Ant Miner. Among them, outstanding students will also receive additional rewards. In addition, graduates from electronics-related majors or those who have obtained nationally recognized electronics maintenance-related technician certificates will receive a ￥200 tuition reduction; students who fail the assessment will also receive a certain degree of reduction in retraining fees.

In the second half of 2019 , Ant Training Academy held 17 offline maintenance training sessions, training more than 300 students from all over the world, of which 16% were overseas students. The completion rate of the first-level training courses reached 90%, and the completion rate of the second-level training courses reached 88%. In December last year, the first overseas branch of Ant Training Academy was officially established in Atlanta, USA. This year, Ant Academy will also set up branches in more regions, and plans to recruit lecturers worldwide to establish an international teaching staff pool.
