Filecoin official why clearly stated on Slack that the Filecoin test network reward program will be officially launched at 6:00 am on Tuesday, August 25 (Beijing time), and the test reward program will last for 3 weeks.
The Filecoin Testnet Rewards Program (i.e., Space Race) is a collaborative competition and an official stress test of the network to simulate the real environment of the mainnet. The next step after completing the Space Race is to launch the mainnet.

The official announcement stated that Lotus is in a state of competition code freeze and has officially merged the "next" branch into "master" in preparation for resetting the Filecoin Testnet to launch the space race.
