Filecoin Space Race Rewards New Progress, Steady Progress Is the Best Way

The Filecoin Space Race will last for three weeks, and the top 100 miners in the world and the top 50 miners in each continent will receive Filecoin rewards based on the amount of storage they achieve for the network during the test.

Since the space race started on August 25, big miners have been trying their best to rush to the top of the rankings. What’s worse, some people with bad intentions used DDOS attacks on miners with higher rankings.

Theoretically, at the end of the space race, there will be no major changes in whether or not you can get bonus coins, and how many bonus coins you can get.

But it turns out that rankings don’t tell the whole story!

The official announcement was that 4 out of the top 10 were unqualified because they only packaged their own data and not other people’s data.

In order to make the competition fairer, Filecoin official Lan released the latest news in the slack channel, saying that the average value or the highest computing power may be used as the basis for the reward evaluation of the space competition:

1. The Filecoin official team has found the reasons for the failure of different types of order transactions and is currently deleting 711 failed transaction orders caused by related errors;

2. Regarding the basis for the space race reward review: The official team has been monitoring network conditions and vulnerabilities. If the miners' computing power still drops sharply at the end of the competition, the official team may use the multi-day average or the highest computing power as the basis for reward review;

3. The official team is always adjusting and increasing the rewards for miners to ensure the fairness of the space race. Miners who are short-sighted or play tricks will not receive any rewards.
