The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating Uniswap Labs, the developer of the cryptocurrency exchange Uniswap, according to a report published on September 3. The agency’s enforcement attorneys asked about the exchange’s marketing and the way users interact with the platform. The report confirms that securities regulators are ready to put pressure on the booming decentralized finance sector. A spokesperson for Uniswap said the company is committed to complying with regulations. As reported in July, the exchange raised many eyebrows after blacklisting 100 tokens from the platform. |
