Filecoin mainnet finally launched, FIL token price soared

The highly anticipated crypto project Filecoin has finally launched its mainnet, and major exchanges have listed the Filecoin token FIL, which has also driven up its price.

Subsequently, Filecoin officially announced that the Filecoin main network has been officially launched, and the network has been running stably so far. To ensure the normal operation of the network, the Filecoin network has now entered the post-launch monitoring period.

The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a global, peer-to-peer distributed version of the file system. Its goal is to supplement (or even replace) the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) that currently dominates the Internet and connect all computing devices with the same file system.

Filecoin is an incentive layer on top of IPFS, which builds a decentralized storage market on IPFS through a token incentive model. According to Bitpush data, as of press time, the price of FIL tokens is $60, a 70% increase in 24 hours.
