Things to note when relocating mining machines

The dry season in Yunnan, Sichuan and other places is coming, and we have received many inquiries from customers about relocating mining machines to Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and other places. To ensure the smooth relocation of the machines, Ant Financial after-sales technical support has summarized the following matters that need to be paid attention to when relocating mining machines.

Delisting

Before delisting, be sure to restore the machines to factory settings or restore DHCP in batches (it is recommended to use the Ant Pool batch tool);
When removing the equipment from the rack, the power should be cut off at intervals. Do not pull the main switch directly. It is advisable to operate 5-10 mining machines at a time.
When transporting, it should be handled with care and not violently. At the same time, static electricity protection should be done to ensure personal safety;
Special note: When the mining farm is taken off the shelf, it is necessary to perform a batch operation to restore the factory settings or restore DHCP in batches. Otherwise, the network configurations of the two mining farms will not match, and the mining machine may not be found. In this case, you need to press the RESET button on the front of the mining machine to restore the factory settings, but this method will consume manpower and debugging time.

Package

Try to use original packaging materials for mining machine packaging;
If other packaging materials are used, they must meet impact resistance standards and take electrostatic protection measures.

For transportation, you should choose a regular and professional logistics company to avoid losses caused by violent transportation/loss of items.

Mine site rational inspection

Before the mining machine enters the site, it is necessary to check the mine's power, network, dust prevention, exhaust, and hot and cold isolation facilities in advance.

Debugging

Refer to the Help Center article "Mining Machine Installation and Operation and Maintenance Guide in Low Temperature Areas";
Do not power on a large number of mining machines at the same time. Power on 5 to 10 mining machines at intervals.
Since we have been moving to Xinjiang or Inner Mongolia recently, the temperature is relatively low. The mining machine is prone to condensation after unpacking, so please make sure there is no condensation before powering it on.

Shelf abnormalities and corresponding phenomena

There are three main types of listing anomalies:

The power cord/network cable is not plugged in properly - the mining machine cannot be found.
The copper busbar of the mining machine cable/power supply connected to the computing board is not connected properly - there is no data on the status interface or the board is disconnected.
The fan is loose—there is no data on the status interface.
