Survey shows that 84% of US corporate finance executives will not invest in Bitcoin

A recent survey by research firm Gartner shows that most U.S. corporate finance chiefs do not plan to follow Tesla's example and invest in Bitcoin , and 84% of the companies surveyed said they have never thought about holding Bitcoin in the future.

Only 5% of respondents said they planned to buy Bitcoin this year. Gartner surveyed 77 corporate finance executives, including 50 chief financial officers (CFOs).

The vast majority of financial executives surveyed said one of their top three concerns about bitcoin is its volatility. The other two concerns were risk aversion among corporate boards and the slow pace of bitcoin acceptance as a form of payment.

However, 16% of respondents still said they would be willing to adopt Bitcoin at some point in the future.
