A man in Hong Kong traded Bitcoin with someone in his car, and 3 million in cash was robbed

According to reports from multiple Hong Kong media on January 5, a man in Chai Wan, Hong Kong, was exchanging virtual currency Bitcoin with South Asians in his car on the evening of the 4th. While he was counting the money, he was robbed of a huge sum of HK$3 million by four South Asian men.

According to reports, at around 8pm on January 4, a 37-year-old man surnamed Li met with two South Asian men opposite Hing Man Estate, No. 188 Tai Tam Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong, to exchange virtual currency Bitcoin worth about HK$3 million. The man surnamed Li boarded the other party's private car to hand over the Bitcoin, and the other party also handed over HK$3 million in cash. While the man surnamed Li was counting money in the car, another private car drove over, and four South Asian men jumped out of the car and entered the private car where the man surnamed Li was, snatching cash and two mobile phones. Then the four South Asian robbers fled with a huge sum of money, and the two South Asian buyers said in English: "Money is gone, get off my car." After Li was driven out of the car, the two South Asian men also drove away. The man surnamed Li called the police with the help of passers-by. After receiving the report, the police rushed to the scene and intercepted nearby but found nothing. The police classified the case as robbery and pursued the whereabouts of several South Asian men involved in the case.
