There is a serious bug in the nVidia driver, which may explode your memory

We have received feedback from users recently that qskg and kernel processes occupy a large amount of memory.

After repeated testing, it was found that the 460+ drivers currently released may have this problem. All software (including other software and original users) are affected.

Later, after downgrading the graphics card driver version to 457.51, it ran for 3 hours and 34 minutes and everything was normal.

Therefore, we temporarily believe that the currently released driver version 460 or above has a BUG, ​​and use version 457.71 as the current recommended driver. Before nVidia fixes the BUG, ​​users are not recommended to "chase the latest".

All drivers below 460 should be usable. We recommend 457.71, but it does not mean that only this version can be used. The 457.71 driver supports 10 series, 20 series and all 30 series N cards released so far.

After the release, we will upload the 457.71 driver to various QQ groups, Baidu network disk and other download channels. Users can decide whether to downgrade the driver after checking the actual situation of their own machines.

It is recommended to install the driver when mining is stopped. There is no need to uninstall the old driver, and it can be directly overwritten and installed. Users with multiple machines can use group control to batch upgrade/downgrade drivers with one click (only for intranet group control, which means installing a group control on the mining machine network, and group control accounts cannot be set for intranet group control).
