US SEC requests 60-day extension of Ripple's disclosure period

After two and a half years of investigation and six months of litigation against Ripple, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission asked Judge Analisa Torres to extend the discovery period by 60 days on June 2.

It is reported that the deadline for fact-finding was originally set for July 2, while the expert investigation was scheduled to end on August 16. The SEC stated that Ripple Labs did not submit certain documents it requested, and that the blockchain company had difficulty producing responsive documents from its current and former employees.
