On July 19, Turkey's Deputy Finance Minister Şakir Ercan Gül recently made an important statement on cryptocurrencies. Gül said that a stricter regulatory mechanism is being introduced for the crypto industry, and the relevant legislation for anti-money laundering and regulation of cryptocurrency transactions has been completed and will be submitted to the parliament in October. In the future, crypto asset companies will operate under the supervision of the Capital Markets Committee (SPK) and will introduce minimum capital requirements. |
