U.S. SEC Chairman: DeFi projects may be regulated by the SEC

In an interview, Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. SEC, said that DeFi projects may be regulated by the SEC.

There is no central entity responsible for the operation of DeFi. No matter how decentralized the project claims to be, the existence of behaviors that reward participants such as development teams and sponsors with valuable tokens or similar incentives should be regulated by the US SEC.
