Does a short lifeline mean a short life span?

Does a short lifeline mean a short life span?

There are three clearly visible main lines in our hands, they are life line, love line and career line;
But in palmistry, each of us has different lines on our hands, some are long, some are short, and some are even forked;
The lifeline often represents our health status and life span, so does a short lifeline mean a short life span?

Which palm's lifeline is it? The lifeline of the palm is located between the index finger and the thumb. It is a line that surrounds the ball of the thumb in a semicircle. Everyone's hand will have this line. People believe that the length of the lifeline means the length of life. In fact, the lifeline is not only a part that shows the length of life, health status, presence of illness and sudden accidents, but also a part to prevent disasters and improve health. It indicates a person's physical strength, the good or bad luck of the family environment, personal accidents or health problems, and the rise or fall of sexual ability.

The relationship between the length of the lifeline and life expectancy:
The lifeline only represents the health, physical fitness, social circle and activity ability of the body. It has an indirect impact on life but no direct relationship. Therefore, if the lifeline is short, we can only say that the person has poor physical health, weak resistance, a small social circle and is inactive. As for the length of life, it depends on other lines, such as the fate line, head line and Mars line.

The International Palmistry Society has several definitions of a short lifeline:
1. The lifeline represents whether a person will encounter an accident, a serious illness or a serious danger.
2. The lifeline represents whether a person will have surgery and in which year.
3. The lifeline represents a person’s health status throughout his life.
4. The lifeline represents a person's strength and personality.

As for how long a person will live, we must look at the Mount of Venus at the inner end of the lifeline and the health line that slants out from the bottom of the lifeline. Yamada Toshiyuki, a famous contemporary Japanese palmist, said: If a person's life span could be easily seen at a glance, life would be meaningless. If a person knows that he has a short life, how can he live peacefully and happily and make long-term plans for his life? To be honest, many people with a short lifeline can live a long life!

Two views on the lifeline.
The first is related to symbols of danger or illness appearing on the lifeline.
The lifeline starts at the fork between the thumb and index finger, where the age is counted as 1 year. From then on, each centimeter is counted as 7 years old. That is, the 1st centimeter is 1 to 7 years old, the 2nd centimeter is 7 to 14 years old, the 3rd centimeter is 14 to 21 years old, and so on. In short, at the end of life (close to the wrist and neck line), it will be 99 years old. If at a certain age there is a break, rupture, triangle or island on this line, forming a messy divergent line, it means that the person will face great danger or serious illness at a certain age.

The second type is about the presence of symbols on the lifeline that indicate danger or illness.
What does a short lifeline mean in palmistry? If a good symbol appears above a bad symbol, it means that the person will survive safely before encountering great danger or serious illness. The view that the length of the lifeline is a symbol of life expectancy was denied in 1952.

In mid-July 1952, the International Association of New Palmists held its first general meeting in Canberra, Australia, and invited 1,104 people from various countries who had settled in Australia to conduct an experiment. As to whether the length of the lifeline can be used as a symbol of the length of life, the following experimental results are available:

1. People whose lifeline is very short, less than an inch long: there are 257 people who live to be 65 years old. There were 182 people who lived to be 75 years old. There are 87 people who live to be 85 years old or older.

2. The lifeline is broken in the middle or there are many broken lines at the broken end: it means that there was a serious illness or a major accident, and almost died. There are 146 people whose lifelines are broken in the middle or there are many broken lines at the broken end: it means that there were multiple serious illnesses or multiple major accidents. There are 42 people whose lifelines are broken in multiple places and there are many broken lines at the broken end, but they have never encountered an accident or had a serious illness (I will talk about this situation later).

3. There is a series of continuous islands on the lifeline, forming a small chain: 317 people have been in poor health for a long time (at least more than 10 years) and are prone to accidents. Among them, 144 people have many minor health problems but have never encountered an accident. There are 173 people who said they are prone to accidents but are in relatively good health.

From the above experimental results, we can be almost certain that the length of the lifeline does not equal the length of life! That is to say, people with long lifelines may not live long, and people with short lifelines may not die young. Therefore, some people with short lifelines should not worry about their short life, and should not believe the nonsense of some irresponsible fortune tellers and scare themselves to death. In fact, palmistry is a science of observation, experimentation and statistics. It is not taught by gods, nor is it set in stone.
