The palmistry of Mai explains the length of life

Physiognomy has a long history in China, dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. At that time, physiognomy was mainly noticed as a means of political participation. Professional physiognomists and physiognomy theories in the strict sense had not yet appeared. During the Han Dynasty, physiognomy developed rapidly. According to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty, in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the imperial palace had to have its concubines and court ladies selected by fortune tellers.

Ma Yi's Palm Reading Illustrations to Predict Longevity <br />After that, the custom of fortune-telling reached its peak during the Song and Ming dynasties. Many fortune tellers became dignitaries, and many intellectuals and upper-class celebrities studied physiognomy theory with great interest, and a large number of physiognomy books flooded bookstores. After the Ming Dynasty, physiognomy gradually spread to the common people and became a means for quacks to make money and support their families. Since then, there has been little new development in either the theory of physiognomy or the art of physiognomy reading. There were many famous physiognomists in ancient times, such as Gu Bu Ziqing in the Spring and Autumn Period, Tang Ju in the late Warring States Period, Xu Fu in the Han Dynasty, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng in the Tang Dynasty, Ma Yi Taoist and Chen Bo in the early Song Dynasty, Yuan Zhongwei in the Ming Dynasty and Chen Zhao in the Qing Dynasty, all of whom were famous.
The hand is like a miniature version of the body, with each finger corresponding to a different body organ. By regularly observing the half-moon marks and pain status of each finger, you will know where the red light is flashing in your body. Look, smell, ask and feel. Dry, flaky, and sore fingers are more than just a skin problem. Learn the art of physiognomy from Ma Yi, and dare to measure others. Ma Yi's palm reading is explained in detail. "Ma Yi's Palm Reading" is the pioneering work in physiognomy. "Ma Yi's Palm Reading" explores the field of destiny prediction from the perspective of physiognomy, including human body structure and function, human psychological activity characteristics, human movement patterns, and coordination of human organs. "Ma Yi Shen Xiang" is the earliest existing Chinese physiognomy book that systematically discusses human appearance.
The Taoist in hemp clothes was named He, whose surname was Li. Born in the Northern Song Dynasty, he was from Neixiang, Nanyang, Henan. He was the teacher of Chen Tuan, an eminent monk in the Song Dynasty and a legendary figure with an immortal appearance. He was proficient in physiognomy, Yixue and numerology, and he integrated the three into one. "Soushen Shenglan" said: The Taoists in hemp clothes often wear hemp braids as clothes, which are covered with dirt, but their faces are like children, and their pupils are bright blue. Chen Tuan and the Taoist monk Ma Yi practiced Taoism together in Chongkan (now in Anyue County, Sichuan Province), and later discussed Taoism together in Huashan. The two had similar ideas and deep feelings. Chen Tuan respected the Taoist monk Ma Yi very much, praising his high morals and his profound knowledge of heaven and man, and even considering him as a model for immortals for future generations. His works include "Ma Yi Shen Xiang", "Huo Lin Zhu" and a volume of Yi Xue treatise "Ma Yi Zheng Yi Xin Fa" which was passed down in the form of annotations by his disciple Chen Tuan. Among them, "Ma Yi Shen Xiang" is the most classic. Misfortune is the foundation of good fortune, and good fortune is the root of misfortune. Good and bad fortune are unpredictable, and good and bad are hard to distinguish. Therefore, as an individual, we always try to seek fortune and avoid disaster and find the direction to move forward. The futuristic school was born from this, and palmistry was one of them.
1. Brittle and easily broken nails indicate malnutrition. The stratification of normal nails is often related to endocrine disorders caused by malnutrition and chaotic lifestyle habits. In severe cases, it is also accompanied by lesions of internal organs. It is recommended to correct your lifestyle habits and get a comprehensive physical examination.
Health from the color of nails: What color are your nails?
Healthy nails: pink, without spots or lines.
If the nails are pale and bloodless, it indicates a deficiency of Qi and blood.
If the nails are purple, it may be a sign of arteriosclerosis, high blood lipids, or heart disease.
If the nails turn blue, it indicates severe cold and blood stasis.
If your nails turn yellow, it could be a sign of liver and gallbladder problems or poor blood sugar metabolism.
If your nails are blue, this may indicate a lung obstruction, such as asthma or emphysema.
2. Horizontal or vertical lines appear on the nail surface. A normal nail surface should be smooth, without obvious vertical or horizontal lines. The surface of the nails is not smooth and has vertical lines. This usually happens when you overwork or overuse your brain. When you lack sleep, these vertical lines will appear very clearly. If vertical lines persist, it may be a sign of poor heart function; if horizontal lines appear, it indicates insufficient Qi and blood.
3. Peeling around the edges of the fingers. Are there always hangnails around the edges of the fingers, and dead skin comes back again? This is a sign of poor blood circulation at the end of the nails! There are many micro-capillaries gathered at the root of the nail. When the blood in the body becomes thicker, it is difficult to pass through these tiny micro-capillaries, causing the skin at the root of the nail to peel or curl up due to poor blood circulation.
4. The number of half-moons at the base of the fingers. The half-moon marks on the nails are the boundary of the yin and yang meridians and represent the essence of the human body, so it is also called the health circle. It is best to have 8-10 marks on all ten fingers, and the area should occupy one fifth of the nails. Creamy white is best, the whiter the color, the stronger the energy. If there are no or only a few half-moon marks on all 10 fingernails, it means that you have a cold constitution and your hands and feet are particularly afraid of cold.
Excerpts from Ma Yi's detailed explanation of palmistry: First observe his behavior, then examine his material; third, look at his aura, fourth, observe his spirit; fifth, check his color, sixth, distinguish his voice; seventh, guess his bones, eighth, discuss his cultivation; ninth, analyze his name, tenth, taste his rhyme. The one who has ten perfect qualities is Qianlong; those who have eight or nine of them are of the highest rank; those who have seven of them are high-ranking officials; those who have six of them are wealthy; those who have five of them achieve success in their careers; the rest are not worth mentioning.
Look at his complexion and determine his fortune:
When essence is sufficient, qi is abundant; when qi is abundant, spirit is strong; when spirit is strong, things will be accomplished. Those with strong Qi are like the rising sun in the east or the flowers and trees in spring, all fresh and new, bursting with vitality and about to soar. Those with weak Qi are like autumn grass encountering frost, which is cold and dead, with no vitality and will accomplish nothing. Intelligence arises from situations of crisis, and atmosphere determines success or failure, so strengthen your own energy; Ma Yiyun said: Those with ears whiter than their faces are intelligent and will surely become officials; those with black air at the corners of their foreheads will not exceed thirty years old; those with yellow and moist tip of their noses will achieve success without planning; those with black air entering their mouths will become violent due to drinking.
Is the length of the lifeline really related to life expectancy?
1. The lifeline represents a person's strength and personality.
2. The lifeline represents whether a person will encounter an accident, a serious illness or a serious danger.
3. The lifeline represents whether a person will have surgery and in which year.
4. The lifeline represents a person’s health status throughout his life.
5. If a person does not have a destiny line on his hand, the life line can replace the destiny line.
At present, many people's understanding of palmistry is still stuck in the wrong idea that the longer the lifeline, the longer the life, or they hope to understand numerology through palm lines. But a study shows that the length of the lifeline has nothing to do with life expectancy. According to statistics, 40% of the elderly over 75 years old have a short life expectancy. Therefore, the lifeline cannot be used to predict life expectancy.
1. There is a series of continuous islands on the lifeline, forming a small chain: 317 people have been in poor health for a long time (at least more than 10 years) and are prone to accidents. Among them, 144 people have many minor health problems but have never encountered an accident. There are 173 people who said they are prone to accidents but are in relatively good health.
2. Draw a straight line from the middle finger. If the life line is closer to or exceeds the middle line, the person has a healthy alkaline constitution. If not, the person has an acidic constitution.
3. Under normal circumstances, the lifeline should be parabolic and curved, and gradually become thinner from the base of the thumb to the wrist. If you find that the tail is forked, you should be careful about secretion, excretion, female gynecological diseases, etc.
4. People whose lifeline is very short, less than an inch long: there are 257 people who live to be 65 years old. There were 182 people who lived to be 75 years old. There are 87 people who live to be 85 years old or older.
5. The starting point of the lifeline is in the upper middle between the base of the thumb and the index finger, which is a manifestation of excessive liver fire. At this time, massaging the Taichong point (the base between the big toe and the second toe) can effectively soothe the liver and regulate qi.
6. Lifeline is broken in the middle or divided into many broken lines: It means that the person had a serious illness or a major accident and almost died. There are 146 people whose lifelines are broken in the middle or divided into many broken lines. It means that the person had several serious illnesses or several major accidents. There are 42 people whose lifelines are broken in many places and divided into many broken lines, but they have never encountered any accidents or had any serious illnesses (I will talk about this situation later).
