The six palaces are: Tiancang is the upper two palaces. The zygomatic area is the middle two palaces. The Yi position is the lower two palaces. The six palaces of facial features are divided into upper, middle and lower palaces, usually called the three palaces, but because they refer to the sides of the forehead, cheekbones, and sides of the chin, a total of six parts, they are also called the six palaces. Specifically, the six organs of the face refer to the two accessory bones on the left and right, the two cheekbones, and the two chin bones.

"The Secret of Lingtai" says: The upper two palaces are from Fujiao to Tiancang; the middle two palaces are from Mingmen to Huer; the lower two palaces are from shoulder bone to Dige. If the six organs are straight and without any defects or scars, it means that one will have abundant wealth. The sky is vast and steep, which means this person will have a lot of wealth; the land is wide and flat, which means this person will have thousands of acres of farmland. Those who are missing do not fit this.
Taiqing Shenjian said: If a government is good, it will bring wealth for ten years. Therefore, the six organs should be full and complementary, not fragmented and isolated. A person with full bones, plump and full, bright in color, and without any defects or scars is a sign of wealth. The steep Tiancang represents wealth and fortune, while the square Dige represents thousands of acres of farmland. If the six organs are fragmented and exposed, the appearance is not good; if there are defects, scars, or moles, it is unlucky.
All parts of the six organs should be full and complementary to each other, which is a good sign. Avoid being fragmented, sunken, with bad moles, scars, or punctured by horizontal lines, which is an ominous sign. The two accessory bones extend from the auxiliary corners to the Tiancang, which is the area above the ends of the eyebrows. Those with good physiognomy can inherit ancestral property, be loved and promoted by elders and nobles, and have smooth fortunes in their youth. If the physiognomy is not good, then the relationship with parents is shallow, there will be no noble people when going out, and the fortune in youth is not good.
The Middle Palace runs from the Mingmen to the Huer, which is the cheekbones. Those with good physiognomy will have smooth fortune in middle age, great help from family, many noble peers, and good interpersonal relationships. If the physiognomy is not good, the fortune in middle age will not be smooth, there will be many villains and few noble people, and one will often be dragged down by the family.
The lower two palaces are from the cheekbone to the chin, including the underground storage area. Those with good physiognomy will have good fortune in their later years, a virtuous wife and filial children, and will be able to get help from younger generations, children, and subordinates. They will also have even better fortune in their old age. If one has a bad physiognomy, he will inevitably be lonely and poor in his old age, and his younger generations, children, and subordinates will not be of much help to him.
From the perspective of physiognomy, most important parts should have bony protrusions and be covered with flesh. This is considered a perfect match of yin and yang and is considered a good physiognomy. The face is divided into upper, middle and lower parts, which control the fortune at different stages of life. The Upper Palace is in charge of one’s fortune in early years; the Middle Palace is in charge of one’s fortune in middle years; and the Lower Palace is in charge of one’s fortune in old age. Assuming a person has a full forehead, that is, the sides of the forehead are full, without any depressions and are bright and shiny, it means that he had a good foundation in his youth, came from a privileged family, was cultivated, and usually had a good education level, and was successful at a young age. By analogy, if the middle palace is full, one will not be in poverty in middle age but will enjoy a wealthy life; if the lower palace is full, one will have a worry-free life in old age and can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable life with enough food and clothing.
In addition, from a simple perspective, the Tiancang on both sides of the forehead of the Shangfu belongs to the active capital part; the cheekbones of the Zhongfu are the driving force for creating wealth, execution, and decision-making ability for investment and financial management; and the Diku next to the chin of the Xiafu belongs to the real estate and property part. Then, based on the quality of the three palaces, we can tell the period of a person's prosperity and the reason for his prosperity.
As for the five senses, they must be coordinated with the six organs, which is the combination of the organs in physiognomy. Having good facial features but no house is like being an official without a residence. You have nowhere to live and are displaced. How can you be considered a high-ranking official? Similarly, if one has good six organs but not good five senses, or has a house but no identity or status, how can one manage money and property?
In real life, some people have good facial features but bad internal organs, which means they have good abilities and reputation, but their income is meager and not very generous. Some people have poor facial features but good internal organs, and have no obvious status, but they make a lot of money, just like setting up street stalls or running a small business. They live a wealthy life but have no real power.
In short, the six organs of the face should be full and coordinated, complementing each other, and should not be fragmented or isolated.
