Palmistry: Shape, Color and Health of the Hands

Palmistry: Shape, Color and Health of the Hands

(1) The palm muscles severely atrophy and lose their original shape, especially the Mount of Venus and the Mount of the Moon shrink significantly, making the palm flat like the upper limbs of an ape (this is called ape-like hand). It is common in arm nerve injury and inflammation.

(2) Swelling of the palms and numbness of the fingers may indicate heart disease.

(3) The entire palm becomes wider and thicker, the fingers are thick and short, and the zygomatic bones, mandibular bones, and forehead bones may also become prominent, which is common in adults with pituitary tumors.

(4) Small blisters, peeling, and severe itching on the palms of the hands are usually caused by fungal infections of the hands, namely tinea manuum, commonly known as tinea manuum.

(5) Exposed blue veins (dilated veins) on the palms and fingers are usually a sign of bowel stagnation.

(6) The skin on the back of the hands is wrinkled, the knuckles are stiff and inflexible, and the hands feel cold to the touch. This is the case all year round. This is cold hands and feet syndrome, which is common in the elderly and infirm. If the cold hands and feet are paroxysmal, accompanied by symptoms such as unbearable abdominal pain, bluish face, cold sweats, etc., and the patient is like a normal person after the attack, it is common in ascariasis.

(7) The skin color of the hands becomes darker, which is common in pigment disorders and gastrointestinal diseases.

(8) The palms appear pale white, which is common in anemia, occult bleeding, etc.

(9) White palms indicate lung disease or inflammation in the body.

(10) Blue palms are common in intestinal dysfunction.

(11) Green palms indicate anemia or spleen and stomach diseases.

(12) Yellow palms are common in chronic diseases.

(13) Golden yellow palms are common in patients with liver disease.

(14) The skin on the palms becomes thicker, harder, shiny, smooth, dry and light yellow. This is called palmotarsal keratosis. It is usually inherited through chromosomal transmission, usually occurs in infancy and often has a family history.

(15) If your palms are yellowish brown and dull, this may indicate cancer.

(16) The appearance of red reticular capillaries on the palms is common in people with vitamin C deficiency.

(17) Dark red or purple spots on the entire palm surface are common in liver disease.

(18) Redness and congestion on the palm surface, especially on the Venus and Moon hills and fingertips, is common in cirrhosis of the liver and cancer.

(19) The palms of your hands may appear red and then gradually turn dark purple. This is common in heart disease and indicates that the condition is gradually getting worse.

(20) If the palms are too red, it indicates a tendency to suffer a stroke. If the entire palm of a patient with hypertension is red tea color, it may be a precursor to cerebral hemorrhage.

(21) If the skin on your palms is soft and rosy like satin, it indicates that you are prone to rheumatic fever or gout.

(22) The subcutaneous tissue of the palm is bluish purple, which is common in severe diseases such as septic shock.

(23) Thin ash-like spots on the palms are often a sign of heavy smoking and a high risk of heart disease.

(24) Black palms are common in kidney disease.

(25) A dark brown discoloration in the center of the palm is common in cases of gastrointestinal disease.

(26) If a black or dark purple color appears from the wrist to the Moon Hill, it is often a sign of lumbar disease due to rheumatism. At this time, this type of color will also appear on the inside of the ankle.
