Coinmap heat map shows where Bitcoin is accepted

Bitcoin is a global currency that is being used by people all over the world. Its usage also depends on the level of Bitcoin adoption in different regions. What are the usage patterns of Bitcoin around the world? What if there was a tool that could help you find places where you can use Bitcoin instead of fiat currency, no matter which country you are in? Then try Coinmap.

Coinmap is a web-based Bitcoin heat map platform. The map shows stores and businesses around the world that accept Bitcoin payments. The heat map also shows the concentration of businesses and venues that accept Bitcoin. Like other heat maps, if Bitcoin-related businesses and venues are very concentrated in a certain area or region, then this place will be marked in red on the map, while general concentration will be marked in yellow or green, but if it is not concentrated and is sparse, it will be marked in blue.

Currently, Coinmap covers more than 6,700 venues, including Bitcoin ATMs, tourist attractions, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, nightclubs, etc. The Coinmap project is part of SatoshiLabs, a company that has created a number of well-known Bitcoin products, including the Trezor hardware wallet and the world's first Bitcoin mining pool Slush's Pool.
