Japanese media reports: Fat Fat claims he is a victim and knows nothing about the loss of Bitcoin

Mt Gox CEO Mark Karpeles has denied manipulating account balances while running Mt Gox.

According to local media reports, Kapelos told Japanese police that he knew nothing about the loss of the Bitcoin and that he was just a "victim."

Kapeles was arrested again last week in Tokyo, where police accuse him of misappropriating 321 million yen (about $2.6 million) in client deposits to fund his own personal projects.

The report also strangely mentioned that Karpeles had a high IQ of 190 and was a genius, and also mentioned that Karpeles said that 'Mt Gox used to be a normal operating commercial platform.'

According to a rough translation of the report, a friend of Karpeles mentioned that a "Mr. X" (supposedly the founder of Mt Gox) had lied to Karpeles.

"When Karpeles took over Mt Gox, the exchange's accounts were already wrong, but Mr. X suggested that Karpeles continued to abide by the operating rules set by him and slowly be able to restore the Bitcoin balance in the account. However, the final result was not the case at all. Mr. X was lying."

Japanese police are still continuing to investigate the case.
