CoinDesk last retrieved data from the site’s API at 05:44 UTC this morning, with Reddit users noticing the problem at around 07:00. At press time, a message on the site’s homepage read: “We’ll be back soon. Blockchain.info is currently offline for maintenance. Please refer to Twitter for status updates. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.” The company's Twitter account posted a similar message: We are currently undergoing some maintenance and will be back online shortly. Please follow @Blockchain on Twitter for the latest updates. — Blockchain (@blockchain) September 4, 2015 Blockchain co-founder Nick Cary told CoinDesk the company was offline to “install some new equipment,” adding that the company has been “growing rapidly” recently. |
