Bitmain and Antminer to participate in China-Arab Expo

September 8, 2015: With less than a week to go before the opening of 2015中国—阿拉伯国家博览会, Bitmain’s intensive preparations are proceeding in an orderly manner.

The 2015 China-Arab Expo is scheduled to be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia from September 10 to 13. Bitmain, a Chinese Bitcoin company, will exhibit its self-developed BM1385 high-speed computing chip and Antminer series. It is reported that the heavyweight product exhibited this time is the Antminer S7, with a computing power of 4.86T and a power consumption of 1201W. The Antminer S7 is one of the mining machines with the best computing power to power consumption ratio so far, with a power consumption of about 250W per T of computing power.

According to the organizers of the conference, the theme of this China-Arab Expo will be "Promoting the Silk Road Spirit and Deepening China-Arab Cooperation". In addition to focusing on key areas of cooperation between China and Arab countries such as agriculture, health, tourism, and technology transfer, this Expo also set up an online Silk Road and cloud computing technology and application exhibition, and a high-tech and equipment exhibition. In addition to Bitmain, other well-known companies that will attend the event include Amazon, Alibaba Group, Huawei, ZTE, Baidu, Tencent, JD.com, Xiaomi Technology, etc.

The China-Arab Expo will last for 4 days. During the same period, the China-Arab Expo Online Silk Road Forum will be held on September 10-11, 2015, with the theme of "Online Silk Road Interconnection". The forum will have a new generation of cloud computing sub-forum, and officials from Chinese and foreign information technology departments, ambassadors of relevant countries in China and international organizations will be invited to attend. Bitmain representatives will also attend this cloud computing sub-forum to showcase cutting-edge achievements in the development of cloud computing, cloud services and other industries.

The China-Arab States Expo is a national and international comprehensive expo approved by the State Council and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
