On September 11, New York-based Bitcoin hardware wallet company Case has received $1 million in funding led by Future\Perfect Ventures. Together with the $1.5 million it received in June, Case's angel round of financing has increased to $2.5 million. Compared to other Bitcoin hardware wallets, including KeepKey, Ledger and Trezor, Case features the addition of biometric technology, where transactions are confirmed only when your fingerprint passes through your biometric data. It is reported that the communication of the Case wallet is based on its GSM chip, and its operation is similar to the way Kindle connects to the 3G network. Speaking of the new funds, the company's CEO Melanie Shapiro expressed confidence that the funds will help her company differentiate itself from other competitors. It is worth mentioning that Case also announced yesterday that it had issued shares on the open market Pivit. The distributed ledger technology used in Pivit’s private equity records was developed by Digital Asset Holdings (DAH), where Blythe Masters, the “mother of CDS”, is located.
