Bitmain releases ANTROUTER Ant Router R1

On September 29, 2015, Bitmain released its first router and Bitcoin mining product, ANTROUTER Ant Router R1. Bitmain is committed to decentralized Bitcoin mining. This is the first Bitcoin IoT product launched by Bitmain. Ant Router R1 is compact and exquisite in appearance. It has five major functions: Bitcoin SOLO mining machine, mini WIFI hotspot, fast USB charger, universal router, and Bitcoin mining host.

Bitcoin SOLO Hosting

Antminer R1 adopts a unique solo mining mode with a computing power of about 5.5GH/s. After binding a Bitmain account, you only need to keep the R1 power supply and network unobstructed to perform solo mining. Once the mining is successful, you can get 25 bitcoins (with a handling fee of 1%).

Mini WIFI hotspot

R1 has a built-in WIFI module, which adopts the 802.11g/n standard and has a 150M transmission capacity, which can turn a wired network into WIFI. R1 software adopts the openwrt system, which can realize advanced functions such as wireless relay.

Fast USB charger

R1 has its own USB interface with a maximum output current of 2A. Use a USB charging cable to connect R1 and your device for charging. Supports Android phones, iPhones, iPads and other tablets.

Universal Router

R1 has the function of a dial-up router and supports protocols such as PPPOE. After connecting the network cable, you can access the broadband operator through simple settings.

Bitcoin mining host

R1 can be used as a mining controller and can be connected to multiple Antminer U3s via USB HUB.
