CoinSource's first Bitcoin ATM debuts in New York's Lower East Side

Bitcoin ATM manufacturer CoinSource set up its first Bitcoin ATM in the Lower East Side neighborhood of New York City on November 23.

This is a one-way transaction Bitcoin ATM that can be used by users from 10:00 am to 3:00 am, 7 days a week. It is located inside the N&N Tobacco Shop at 61 Delancey Street, between Eldridge Street and Allen Street.

谢菲尔德•克拉克, managing partner at CoinSource, said:

“We are excited to expand our Bitcoin ATM network to 61 Delancey Street on New York’s Lower East Side. We are also proud to provide low-cost and secure Bitcoin ATMs to New Yorkers. CoinSource’s Bitcoin ATMs adhere to advanced security standards, enable instant transfers, and are compatible with any Bitcoin mobile wallet for added convenience.”

CoinSource has applied for a BitLicense from the New York authorities. In addition, the company has also set up Bitcoin ATMs in San Diego, Las Vegas and other places.

According to Sheffield Clark, with the addition of this newly installed Bitcoin ATM in New York's Lower East Side, the company currently has only nine Bitcoin ATMs in downtown Manhattan, New York, and a total of 15 Bitcoin ATMs in the five boroughs of New York City.

Sheffield Clark told CoinTelegraph:

"In the future, CoinSource hopes to set up Bitcoin ATMs in Palo Alto and Dallas, which are the first locations we have selected. Las Vegas is our second target, and we plan to install them in these areas by mid-December. We have formulated an aggressive growth strategy for the future."

The Lower East Side bitcoin ATM charges 7 percent of the transaction value, with lower fees for large buyers and high-volume customers.

Sheffield Clark continued:

“Next, we plan to roll out additional features to further enhance the customer experience. Our primary goal is to provide our customers with a seamless, low-cost trading experience.”
