Netki is working to simplify Bitcoin payment services and has officially released a beta version of its own Google Chrome extension, allowing customers to use email-style wallet names, such as "wallet.justin.me", instead of lengthy 32-character public addresses. Netki users can now enter their wallet names on the website anytime, anywhere, and this extension will automatically replace the entered wallet name with the appropriate public wallet address. They currently support Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Factom, Ether, and more. Currently, users can download this extension for free from the Chrome Web Store. However, users need to spend $1.95 per year to get a personalized wallet name on the Netki website, but ChangeTip users can get a personalized wallet name for free. If you want to experience the Netki extension, you can register a ChangeTip account on their website, browse to the "Tips" tab in the upper left corner of the page, and click on the personalized URL under the "Tip.me Page" title bar on the left side of the page to activate your personalized wallet name. Your new wallet name will be bound to the deposit address of your ChangeTip account, so you can use this Netki extension anywhere. Netki was founded in 2014 and is considered by many to be the “DNS for Bitcoin.” The service has partnered with ChangeTip, Gem, and Snapcard, where users will be automatically registered and given personalized wallet names. However, Netki’s ambitions go beyond that. The wallet name allows users to remain “pseudo-anonymous” on the public blockchain, thereby alleviating the privacy concerns of some people whose real-world identities are tied to a single static public address. In addition, Netki supports HD wallets, which allow users to automatically create a unique public address for each transaction associated with a single wallet name. When HD wallets are combined with Netki's wallet names, they can help individuals maintain anonymity on the blockchain without the hassle of managing dozens of public addresses. Netki CEO
