On December 7, Bitcoin e-commerce startup Purse has received $1 million in seed funding led by Barry Silbert’s Digital Currency Group. The startup runs a two-sided e-commerce marketplace that both lets Amazon shoppers pay with bitcoin, offering deep discounts, and allows users to exchange gift cards for the digital currency.
