Bitcoin micropayments startup ChangeTip has added GPS-enabled payments for Bitcoin and U.S. dollars.

ChangeTip has added an 'Explore' option to its platform, allowing users to broadcast their location using GPS to search for other people nearby who are using the ChangeTip app.

Through this feature, users can tip drivers, waiters, street performers, etc., without the need for contact information, and can directly send money to nearby people who are also using the ChangeTip application.

We live in a cashless society and when we tip a street performer we no longer have to toss a few coins into a jar. All we need is a smartphone with the ChangeTip app installed.

Users deposit some funds into ChangeTip's 'Pocket', which is like a digital wallet for storing funds. ChangeTip facilitates fractional micropayments in Bitcoin and up to $100 in any other supported currency. Some organizations use ChangeTip to collect donations, distribute rewards, and monetize content.

The application supports iOS systems for iPhone and iPod touch and can be downloaded for free in the App Store. However, the ChangeTip application cannot be downloaded in some unsupported regions.
