Bidorbuy, the largest online e-commerce platform in South Africa and Africa, has officially added Bitcoin as a payment option. Users can now use Bitcoin to make payments. According to local Bitcoin media Bitcoinhub , Africa's largest e-commerce platform Bidorbuy has officially added Bitcoin to its product purchase payment options. Bidorbuy is a very popular online mall with more than 30 million page views per month. Now, all sellers and merchants in the mall can use Bitcoin for transactions. Sellers can activate the Bitcoin payment function of their stores. After buyers use Bitcoin to purchase goods, sellers can remit the Bitcoin they receive to the official account of bidorbuy . The mall will then automatically convert the Bitcoin into South African rand (South African legal currency) based on the exchange rate and return it to the seller. Bidorbuy said that sellers do not need to have a Bitcoin wallet. Currently, there will be a 2.28% transaction VAT for payments using Bitcoin . bidorbuy encourages sellers to add Bitcoin payment options in a timely manner : “ We encourage sellers to add Bitcoin as a payment option . Not only is it risk-free, but you’ll also gain access to a whole new pool of potential customers.” |
